Walmart Seller Services
Storyboarding
Overview
Walmart Marketplace’s Seller Academy consists of different resources—including videos and guides—designed to help sellers grow their business with Walmart.
Problem
Seller Academy lacked video content for Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS), leaving sellers without guidance on how to use offerings such as prep services and preferred shipping carriers.
Goal
Develop 2 educational videos for Seller Academy, addressing primary seller concerns and questions.
Process
Evaluated support analytics analytics to understand seller contact reasons.
Met with account managers to discuss topics sellers wanted more information on.
Collaborated with subject matter experts to better understand each topic.
Structured and organized each topic into an outline.
Wrote engaging scripts with practical information and actionable advice.
Kept video scripts aligned to the Marketplace’s style guide.
Drafted and refined scripts, incorporating feedback from subject matter experts, account managers, and design colleagues.
Translated scripts into detailed storyboards.
Conducted reviews of all video content pre-release, making adjustments to guarantee clarity, engagement, and adherence to branding.
Launched the video series on the Seller Academy platform, closely monitoring engagement and feedback to improve future content.

Results
While views were relatively low, this became a helpful resource for customer support to reference for sellers who needed extra support with either program.
Takeaways
Support content doesn’t need massive engagement numbers to create value. The videos became a scalable resource for support teams and sellers alike—reducing friction, answering recurring questions, and making complex fulfillment workflows feel more approachable.
